Canyon Hiking Tour
On this tour we follow the riverbed throughout the Hafrahvammar canyon discovering this amazing place from a completely new angle.
After the Kárahnúkar dam was completed in 2008 a new possibility for hiking opened. During a one month period the excess water in Hálslón reservoir overflows the Kárahnjúkar dam making the canyon inaccessible.

Please note that departure dates may vary depending on water level in Hálslón reservoir and weather conditions.
