This tour offers the opportunity to hike the amazing glacial tongue from Sólheimajökull glacier. You will start the tour meeting your guide at Sólheimajökull´s parking lot, where we will provide you with all the tools you will need: ice axes, crampons and safety lines. Then we head to the glacier, you will have time to gear on with your crampons and the hike starts! You will be able to witness some breathtaking panoramic views, as well as crevasses , ridges and even an ice wall where you will have an introduction to ice climbing and will be able to experience it first hand.
