Our adventure starts in Bjarnarhöfn, Helgafellssveit, where guests let the guide take them back to the time of settlers, Berserkers and Vikings. We then go to Berserkjagata -path, which lies in the rugged but beautiful Berserkjaraun lava. There we enjoy nature, refreshing beverages and good food from one of the restaurants in the area. And of course some coffee and sweets also. After that, we walk along the ancient and historical Berserkjagata- path. This is an easy walk and everyone can do it. You just need to focus on taking in the natural beauty and the power of history hidden in each lump of lava.
