The Adrenalin Adventure Park is the only one of its kind in Iceland, located in the beautiful geothermal rift-valley of Nesjavellir. The park is only about 35 km from the capital area and 20 km from Þingvellir National Park.
For the Golden Circle, you can take the scenic route via Mt. Hengill volcano to Þingvellir NP and join us for some fun time in this beautiful area.
At the Adventure Park, you will find a wide selection of climbing routes and exciting challenges.
The park consists of 3 levels – 1, 5, and 10 meters, Zip-line, Quick Flight fall device, and a 12m high Giant Swing.
The age limit is 6 years, but those lower than 130cm need to be assisted by an adult on the course as they do not reach the safety cable on their own.
We use the Edilrid Smart Belay X safety system and can promise you a safe and fun experience at a height!
The weight limit is 120 kg as the climbing equipment is not certified for more.
The Adventure Park is open from May through October and offers climbing for both individuals and groups.

Location
The Adrenalin Adventure Park is located at Nesjavellir, about 35 km from the capital area.
The shortest route to the park from Reykjavík is via road 435 (Nesjavallaleið) and takes approx. 35 min to drive from the capital area.
Drive along highway 1, from Reykjavík towards south Iceland (Selfoss). As you drive out of Reykjavik you pass lake Rauðavatn. About 3 kilometers from the lake turn left onto road 435, and drive as the road ends.
When coming down from Mt. Hengill volcano, turn right onto road 360 and then right again after aprox 1 km into the turn-off to Ion hotel and Nesjavellir Geothermal Power Plant. Drive another 500m and the park is on your left side. Car park is at the side of the road and there is about 100m walk to the park.
All visitors are encouraged to bring:
– Training, jogging, or walking shoes (sandals are not allowed)
– Comfortable clothes suitable for being active outside.
– Hair tie if you have long hair.
– Gloves can come in handy.
