Join us on our easy but beautiful walking tour that takes you on an off-beaten path along the Fjarðará river and its countless breathtaking waterfalls.

Fjarðará is known to be one of few Icelandic rivers with waterfalls “behind every corner”. This is a modest tour which starts by Fjarðarsel hydropower plant, continues through beautiful fields with blueberry bushes alongside the river. We will see many waterfalls along the way,  finishing with the famous Gufufoss, known from the movie “The secret life of Walter Mitty”, where Ben Stiller went down the mountain on a longboard. Breathtaking views, interesting stories from local guides and great photo spots are guaranteed on this tour.
