The Details

This route focuses on the southern highlands, flying over the iconic glacier-volcanoes of Eyjafjallajökull i Mýrdalsjökull. We explore the hidden valley of Þórsmörk and the steaming, multi-colored landscapes of Landmannalaugara. The flight also tracks the infamous Hekla volcano and the massive Haifosswaterfall, which plunges 400 feet into a volcanic canyon, providing an exhaustive survey of Iceland’s most famous highland landmarks.
