Do you have to cope with many different tastes in your family? This tour offers an adventurous day that will leave everyone satisfied! We start the tour by riding for 1.5-2 hours at our farm Vellir. After the riding tour we have light lunch at Hótel Eldhestar, before driving you to the river Hvítá where you go river rafting. BBQ after the Rafting included.

Please note: The tour is suitable for all levels of riding experience from beginners to advanced. During booking process, we ask our clients to inform us about their riding experience, which helps us to choose the right horse for everyone. Beginners and experienced riders ride together. We always try to tölt as much as possible, but do not gallop for safety reasons.

Pick up and drop off, riding for 1 1/2 – 2 hours, lunch at our hotel, rafting trip and BBQ after the rafting.

We provide helmets and rain gear/winter overalls.
Arctic Rafting provides rafting suits, helmets and life jackets.

For the riding: Please wear clothes according to weather and solid shoes. We recommend hiking boots.
For the rafting: Bring your swimming wear (or a change of underclothing) to wear under your rafting pants, a warm fleece or a wool sweater to wear under your rafting jacket (it will get wet) and a towel to dry of after your trip.

Pick-up in Reykjavik every day at 08:00. Return to Reykjavík ca. 20:00. Note that pick up from hotels in Hafnarfjörður, Kópavogur and Mosfellsbær is at 7:30 and pick up from Hveragerði and Selfoss is at 8:45. Departures: 1st of June until the 31st of August. Minimum age 11 years. Please double check your booking a day or two before arrival for the pick up location, as the bus stops may change without notice. Please let us know if there are any dietary needs like if there are allergies or vegetarians.
