An Evening of Northern Lights and a day Reykjavík Sightseeing

This combo tour takes you on a Northern Lights tour & City Sightseeing to explore Reykjavík at your leisure, with the opportunity to hop on and off. 

The Northern Lights tour 

The Northern Lights, also know as Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon created when solar wind particles interact with the Earth's magnetic field. This excites the particles that release energy, causing peculiar luminous green and purple streaks across the skies.

Our northern lights team works thoroughly the weather and aurora forecasts in order to find the best location each night to spot the lights
Since the Northern Lights are a natural phenomena sightings are not guaranteed but if you don´t see any Northern Lights during the tour you can join the tour again free of charge.
The Northern Lights tour is weather dependent. 

Reykjavik City Sightseeing – Hop On Hop Off

We arrive back to Reykjavík in the afternoon so it is not possible to do the Hop on Hop off on the same day as the Golden Circle. You can use the Hop on Hop off ticket any day*

*Please note that the City Sightseeing bus is not operated on June 17, December 24; 25 & 31. and January 1. On Reykjavík Pride parade either second or third Saturday in August On Reykjavík Marathon and Reykjavík Cultural Night which is held annually the Saturday after 18 August, or on 18 August if it is a Saturday.
