We end our delicious food journey down by the Reykjavik Harbor and that's exactly the starting point of the Northern Light Hunt by Sea.

Hunting the northern lights from the ocean is an amazing experience; sailing away from the coastline of Reykjavik and seeing the aurora borealis out on the North-Atlantic ocean with beautiful mountains and the city in the background is something you won’t forget!

At 9 pm you sail out from the Old Harbour, AEgisgardur 2, 101 Reykjavík and in only 15-20 minutes we will be in a prime location away from the city lights, perfect for viewing the auroras! The guide will share with you facts on the science behind the magical phenomenon of the Northern Lights, and tell you about their stories & myths from different cultures around the world. The tour takes about 2 hours depending on how early/late the lights might appear.

We recommend using the warm blankets that will keep you nice and cozy out on the deck, listening to what the guide has to say about the lovely colors dancing in the sky.
