If you're dreaming of visiting the Westman Islands, we offer direct transportation from Reykjavík to Landeyjahöfn, the harbour where the ferry to Heimaey departs. Ferry tickets are purchased separately on Herjólfur, giving you the freedom to choose the sailing that suits your plans best.

For the smoothest connection, we recommend booking the 10:45 ferry of de 20:45 ferry from Landeyjahöfn. Our transfers are scheduled to arrive approximately 15 minutes before departure, allowing plenty of time to board.

Daily departures from Reykjavík:
• 08:00 departure (arrival at Landeyjahöfn around 10:30 for the 10:45 ferry)
• 18:00 departure (arrival at Landeyjahöfn around 20:30 for the 20:45 ferry)

Reykjavik – Landeyjahöfn (Ferry to Westman Islands) Shared Bus Transfer
After the pick-up in Reykjavik, we will take you on a 2-hour journey to the harbor in Landeyjahöfn. From there, you can take the ferry to the Westman Islands.

We recommend that you book your ferry ticket and bus ticket at least 24 hours before your scheduled departure.

In case one of those tickets is unavailable, you can cancel your tickets for free if the cancellation is made 24 hours before the departure.

Please note that you need to book your ferry ticket yourself.
