Continue to Eiríksstaðir, a reconstructed Viking farmstead that was once the home of the renowned Viking Erik the Red and his son, Leif Eriksson (Leif the Lucky). Here, gain an in-depth look at the craftsmanship, survival skills, and exploration spirit of these pioneering Vikings who set off for Greenland and Vinland. Step into a replica Viking longhouse and experience the living conditions, tools, and agricultural techniques used by Iceland’s early settlers.

Experience an unforgettable Viking Lunch near the historic Eric the Red Farmstead, where you can enjoy traditional Icelandic cuisine cooked over an open flame.
