Experience a personalised adventure in Iceland’s untouched wilderness. Explore the remote, colourful mountains and hot springs of Kerlingarfjöll and visit the Golden Circle’s famous attractions.

On this daily tour, we will be exploring two of the country's most iconic sites: Kerlingarfjöll and the Golden Circle. Our first stop will be at the Geysir geothermal area, where you will have the chance to witness the powerful geysers and hot springs that give the area its name. The most famous geyser, Strokkur, erupts every few minutes.

Next, we will head to Kerlingarfjöll, a mountain range located in the highlands known for its unique geothermal features, including hot springs, mud pots, and fumaroles. It's a unique and mesmerising area, where we'll take you on a picturesque hike, perfect for incredible photos opportunities.

After that, we will visit Gullfoss, one of Iceland's most beautiful waterfalls.

Our final stop on the Golden Circle will be Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to the world's oldest parliament and is also where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. We'll end our tour with a drive back to Reykjavík.

Privé vervoer

For this tour, it would be a good idea to bring a small backpack to carry essentials such as a camera, extra layers of clothing, gloves, snacks and drinks. Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots would also be recommended. Additionally, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat or other head covering can be useful to protect from the sun. A rain jacket or poncho may also be useful in case of inclement weather. It's also recommended to bring a refillable water bottle as well as a power bank or extra battery for electronic devices.

First Stop – Geysir
Bij Geysir heb je de kans om getuige te zijn van de krachtige geisers en warmwaterbronnen waaraan het gebied zijn naam dankt. De beroemdste geiser, Strokkur, barst om de paar minuten uit en schiet een kolom stoom en kokend water hoog de lucht in.
Second Stop – Kerlingarfjöll
Kerlingarfjöll is een bergketen gelegen in centraal IJsland, bekend om zijn prachtige geologische formaties en levendige warmwaterbronnen.

Het gebied wordt gekenmerkt door kleurrijke ryolietbergen, stomende ventilatieopeningen, borrelende modderpotten en gletsjerrivieren.

We rijden zo dicht mogelijk bij het wandelgebied waar u de natuurlijke kracht en schoonheid van IJsland kunt ervaren.
Derde Stop --Gullfoss
Gullfoss: een van de mooiste watervallen van IJsland Terwijl het water zich in een diepe kloof stort, ontstaat er een oogverblindend vertoon van mist en spray dat werkelijk ontzagwekkend is.
Last Stop – Þingvellir National Park

Hier krijgt u de kans om de vele wandelpaden van het park te verkennen en te genieten van het prachtige uitzicht op het omliggende landschap.
