DT 321 Private Golden Circle en Secret Lagoon

Onze eerste stop brengt ons naar het Thingvellir National Park waar het IJslandse parlement meer dan 1000 jaar geleden werd opgericht In Thingvellir, zult u zien hoe de aarde zich altijd zo langzaam uit elkaar trekt langs de Noord-Amerikaanse en Euraziatische tektonische platen en u zult in staat zijn om te staan waar de Viking kolonisten eeuwen geleden stonden om nationale wetten te edicteren. 

Vervolgens bezoekt u het geothermische gebied Geysir in Haukadalur waar u geisers, warmwaterbronnen, stoomopeningen en griezelige blauwalgen kunt zien Strokkur is een van de grootste en krachtigste geisers en barst bijna elke 5 minuten uit. 

The final stop of the Golden Circle takes you to Gullfoss waterfall, which many consider to be the queen of Icelandic waterfalls, as it is both high and mighty and stumbles dramatically in a deep gorge. We then have a lunch break at Gullfoss Café, before trying out our Superjeep vehicles off-road: the ride will take you to the highlands, rough terrain and glacier area of Langjökull (Icelandic for "long glacier"), known to be the second largest ice cap in Iceland (953 km2). You will enjoy the landscape from your Superjeep while occasionally stopping at incredible sights. 

After an off-road ride, we visit Faxi, a small but beautiful waterfall, and Secret Lagoon, which is a natural hot spring located in the small village of Flúðir. It is the oldest swimming pool in Iceland made in 1891. and its water holds at 38-40 Celsius (100-104 Fahrenheit) all year. It has magical surroundings with a small geyser erupting on the side. 

We reserve the right to reverse the circle to escape the crowds.

The Private tours, are booked per Superjeep (up to 6 persons) or per Monster truck (up to 10 persons) for you or your group only, and the time schedule you can change as you want.

In all our Private tours, you can add any extra activities you like. (Snowmobiling,  ATV & Buggy, Helicopter, Boats, Kayak, Diving & Snorkeling, Horse Riding, Ice cave, Glacier hiking, Lava cave, Secret Lagoon, Into the volcano, Mountain biking) Basically, whatever you want, we can make it happen! 

Extras : Snowmobiling on Langjökull glacier is optional and is offered at an additional price. Please note that the age limit for snowmobile tours is 6 years old. The age limit to operate a snowmobile is 18 years old, and a fully valid driver’s license is needed as well. Children and those who don’t hold a driver’s license are welcome to ride as passengers. This activity is subject to weather conditions.
