Enjoy a scenic horseback riding tour through meadows, along rivers, and past mountains near our farm in Iceland. Suitable for all experience levels, the tour offers beautiful views and friendly horses for everyone.

The tour starts on soft riding trails along the meadows around our farm Vellir. We then follow the river Gljufura and continue on an old route towards Ingolfsfjall Mountain, named after the first Norwegian Viking who settled in Iceland. We ride along the slopes of the mountain Reykjafjall with nice views of the landscape between the ocean and the volcanic mountains surrounding the village Hveragerdi before we return to our farm.

Pick up and drop off, Riding for 2 1/2 – 3 hours.

Wij bieden helmen en regenkleding/winteroveralls.

Draag kleding op basis van het weer en stevige schoenen. Wij raden wandelschoenen aan.

Een 100%-heffing geldt indien deze binnen 1 dagen na de starttijd wordt geannuleerd.

Let op

This tour is offered all year round. 2.5-3 hours riding. Pick-up in Reykjavik elke dag om 08:00. Return to Reykjavík ca. 13:00. Note that pick up from hotels in Hafnarfjörður, Kópavogur en Mosfellsbær is bij 7:30 and pick up from Hveragerði and Selfoss is at 8:45. Please double check your booking a day or two before arrival for the pick up location, as the bus stops may change without notice.
