Gíslaskáli Kjölur Hostel – Sleeping Bag Accommodation

Gíslaskáli Kjölur is located in Sprengisandur, by the lava field Kjalhraun and right next to River Svartá. The property offers a garden, BBQ facilities and a terrace.

The rooms have bunk beds and shared bathroom facilities. Guests also have access to cooking facilities, a spacious dining area and a shared lounge.

At Gíslaskáli Kjölur, an array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including hiking and riding. The glacier River Jökulfall runs a few kilometres east of the property.

The property has a stable for horses and hay for sale. Several hiking and riding trails start in the vicinity and horses can be rented on site.
