On this classic tour, we‘ll drive to The Golden Circle and take in all its awe and beauty!

We‘ll visit Þingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal area, and the well-known Gullfoss – the queen of all Icelandic waterfalls. Then we’ll walk the beautiful Þingvellir National Park and UNESCO Heritage site. The scenery is amazing no matter the weather! We get a closer look at how the tectonic plates drifted apart and where the first settlers of Iceland founded the world´s oldest parliament Althingi (Alþingi) in the year 930.

After that, we continue to the geysers area with the famous Geysir which all other geysers are named after. Here we’ll see the lively geyser Strokkur erupt roughly every 5-10 minutes and reach a height of up to 25 meters along with observing the other geothermal features of the area.

From there we’ll head up to Gullfoss waterfall, which many Icelanders call the Queen of Waterfalls! Gullfoss is a 32-meter waterfall and, as the name says, it is the Golden Waterfall.

The Golden Circle is one of Iceland´s most famous highlights. We will go for a walk at the beautiful Thingvellir National Park and UNESCO Heritage site. The scenery here is amazing no matter the weather! We will get a close look at how the tectonic plates drifted apart and where the first settlers of Iceland founded the world´s oldest parliament Althingi in the year 930. Then we continue to the geysers area with the famous Geysir which all other geysers are named after. From there we will contine on to Gullfoss waterfall, wich many Icelander´s call the Queen of all Waterfalls here in the land of ice and snow.

Meeting point is at Brú Base, road 249. 5 minutes further than Seljalandsfoss.
