Visit Skógafoss, a powerful waterfall dropping from Iceland’s former sea cliffs. Walk close to the waterfall or climb the staircase for panoramic views from above.
Enjoy sweeping views over the South Coast, black sand beaches and the surrounding volcanic landscape. Puffins may sometimes be seen here during the summer season.
Access to some areas may depend on weather, road conditions and seasonal restrictions.
Explore Reynisfjara, known for its black volcanic sand, basalt columns, Reynisdrangar sea stacks and dramatic Atlantic waves.
Visitors must remain well away from the ocean because the waves can be unpredictable and dangerous.
Stop in Vík, Iceland’s southernmost village, and visit the hilltop church viewpoint overlooking the village, coastline and surrounding mountains.
Walk toward the Sólheimajökull glacier viewpoint and see the glacier lagoon, volcanic terrain and surrounding mountains.
This stop includes glacier sightseeing only. Glacier hiking and other guided glacier activities are not included in the base tour price.
Visit Seljalandsfoss, one of Iceland’s most recognisable waterfalls. When weather and trail conditions allow, visitors can walk behind the falling water.
Visit Gljúfrabúi, a partially hidden waterfall located inside a narrow canyon near Seljalandsfoss. Access inside the canyon may be wet and slippery.
