Take an unforgettable journey with us to explore the South West coast of Iceland. Glacial rivers, mountain views, and waterfalls. Price is per vehicle. PRIVATE TOUR.

Spend a day driving Iceland’s South West coast, past glacial rivers, mountains, waterfalls and lava fields covered in thick moss. The main event is Krísuvík, with its bubbling hot springs and cliffs full of nesting seabirds. It’s a long, full day, and you’ll see some of the best the region has to offer.

Along the way you’ll also meet some of the people who live here. We stop at local workshops where artists and craftspeople make their work. Price is per vehicle.

Perché scegliere un tour privato?

Your trip, your way. We have a suggested route, but it’s only a starting point. If something catches your interest, we can change plans to fit it.

Go at your own pace. No one’s hurrying you back to the bus. Stay as long as you like wherever you like.

A guide who knows the place. Our guides know the history, the culture, and the spots most visitors miss, and they’re happy to share all of it.

Nothing to organize. We take care of transport, bookings, and the rest of the logistics. You just enjoy the day.

Si ferma in questo tour:

✓ Urriðafoss – Iceland’s largest waterfall by volume. It’s not the tallest, but the amount of water coming over it is something to see.

✓ Tré og List – A small museum of wood and art, built by a local farmer who made much of the work himself.

✓ Strandakirkja – A country church right by the shore, surrounded by black sand, rough volcanic rock and a cold, restless sea.

✓ Krísuvíkurbjarg – Dark sea cliffs that are home to around 60,000 seabirds in the summer nesting season. A trail runs out to the edge, where you can watch kittiwakes, puffins, guillemots, razorbills, lapwings and more diving into the water below.

✓ Krísuvík – A geothermal area with boiling mud pools and steaming vents. Fair warning: it smells strongly of sulfur.

✓ Kleifarvatn – A quiet lake under a steep mountain, with a shoreline of small black lava stones that’s great for a short walk.

✓ Something extra – Depending on the time, the weather and how everyone’s feeling, your guide may add a stop or two along the way.
