Let’s get immersed in a top-technological ride with the most stunning journey across beautiful Iceland. FlyOver Iceland is one of those things you would do as a local or a tourist, as a kid or a grandpa, and this is why we love it. Since its opening in September this year, this attraction has been highly rated by its visitors from all around the world. The scenarios are 100% originally captured by the crew, and it is a great program for un-planned visitors in their layover, families, friends, or anyone that wants to see Iceland differently.

FlyOver Iceland is the newest attraction in town located in Grandi, one of the most known areas in Reykjavík. You will experience three different situations in this ride. Before the take-off, you are welcome inside an ancient Viking’s house. An old Icelandic storyteller presents some interesting facts and stories about the life of Vikings in the past. The sounds and projection are unusual and yet astonishing. After this short opening, you will continue onto the troll Sú Vitra. The story about the Well of Time, forces of nature, and how Icelanders have lived in this mighty land, will dazzle you. Here you will understand why and how people in Iceland live each winter positively, waiting for the next beautiful and exciting springtime.

For the last, and more exciting part, flying over Iceland! You will be seated suspended with your feet drooping and ready to start. Seating in-front of a 20-meter globular screen, as if you were in a planetarium, the wind effect around you, natural smells of the Icelandic scenes, it is just an extraordinary adventure.

We have to say we haven’t experienced this anywhere in Iceland as we did in FlyOver Iceland. It is an experience for everyone, a short but engaging and fun ride. For some moments, you thought you were going to touch the water with your feet, hit Dyrhólaey’s arch, or feel the ice-cold glaciers. If you like adventure and different experiences like us, then you will love this one!
