Experience the magnificent view of the capital of Iceland! When the scene of colorful rooftops slips away, brace the Iceland’s unspoiled countryside in its whole glory. Remember to charge your camera for some breath-taking photos to take home!
Start your trip from Reykjavik Domestic Airport, just 5 minutes drive from the centre of the city. This round trip to a nearby summit with an impressive flyover of Reykjavik. You will be able to see some of the most famous landscapes, such as, Hallgríms Church and The Harpa concert hall. Let’s not forget the very famous colorful rooftops of the houses in the city and also the bay. While flying in the Reykjavik area, remember to ask the pilot to point out where the president lives.
When the flight concludes we slowly fly away from the urban area and start to see the beautiful landscape surrounding the city. We land on top of one of the nearby mountains and use the unique chance to take some breath-taking photos of you and the whole Reykjavik cityscape in the background.
The total duration of the tour is 30-45 minutes, approx. 15-20 minute guided helicopter flight and a 15 minute landing on a nearby mountain.
