We are located way off the beaten track in Borgarfjörður Eystri, a small village also known as the Puffin Capital of Iceland. If you’ve made it this far east or are planning to, you’re already looking for something really special. Let us take you the rest of the way.

Nuestro RIB boats take you right to the base of the towering sea cliffs. You’ll get a unique, water-level perspective of the "Puffin Capital" and access to hidden coves that are completely unreachable on foot.

Life Jackets, Flotation Suites, Ski goggles
Our Flotation Suites are windproof and water repellent, certified and approved by The Icelandic Transport Autorities.

Warm clothes are always a good option when traveling in Iceland, however, we'll provide you with ski googles, a warm, windproof and photogenic flotation suite and a dependable life jacket, giving you that adventurous “action figure” look while keeping you safe and comfortable.

00:00 – Check-in at the Puffin Marina
Meet us at the Old Pier in Borgarfjörður Eystri 15 minutes before your scheduled departure. We’ll get you suited up in our professional flotation suits and life jackets, designed to keep you warm and dry out on the North Atlantic.
00:15 – 01:15 – The Nature & Wildlife RIB Safari
We leave the harbor and head straight for the action. This 1-hour expedition is all about getting you closer to nature than any other tour.
- The Cliffs: We’ll navigate to the base of the massive sea cliffs for a unique, water-level view of the nesting Atlantic Puffins.
- Hidden Coves: Our RIB boats allow us to tuck into tiny coves and rock formations that are completely inaccessible by foot.
  This is the only way to see these hidden corners of the coast.
- The Search: Every trip is a search for more than birds. We’ll keep a sharp lookout for curious seals, leaping dolphins, and whales.
01:15 – Arrival & The Colony
We return to the pier and help you de-gear. The adventure doesn’t have to end here; since you’re already in Borgarfjörður, you can drive to the Puffin Marina and visit the wooden platforms to see the colony from above at your own pace.

Facilities: Restrooms and a resturant are close to the pier for a post-safari coffee or snack.

Keep in mind that we usually gather 4-12 passengers into groups. The puffins arrive at the beginning of May and stay until mid-August.
During this time, they come to Iceland to breed and raise their young.
