La zona geotérmica de aguas termales de Geysir en Haukadalur (también conocida como Hawks’ Valley) cuenta con una colección de coloridas aguas termales y piscinas de barro. La atracción principal, Strokkur (también conocida como Churner), es la única fuente termal que brota en la zona, lo que la convierte en la única de su tipo en Europa.
