DT 301 Private Superjeep Golden Circle and Langjökull Glacier

Our first stop is Thingvellir National Park where the Icelandic parliament was founded over 1000 years ago. At Thingvellir, you can see how the earth is ever so slowly pulling apart along the North-America and Eurasian tectonic plates. You will be able to stand where the Viking settlers stood centuries ago to edict national laws.

The final stop of the Golden Circle takes you to Gullfoss waterfall, which many consider to be the queen of Icelandic waterfalls, as it is both high and mighty and stumbles dramatically in a deep gorge. We then have a lunch break at Gullfoss Café, before trying out our Superjeep vehicles off-road: the ride will take you to the highlands, rough terrain and glacier area of Langjökull (Icelandic for "long glacier"), known to be the second largest ice cap in Iceland (953 km2). You will enjoy the landscape from your Superjeep while occasionally stopping at incredible sights. After an off-road ride, we visit Faxi, a small but beautiful waterfall before driving back to Reykjavik.

Helicóptero back to Reykjavík and drop off at your Hotel (max 5 persons per Helicopter, price per Helicopter ). From the Langjökull glacier area or Golden waterfall, you can take a helicopter back to Reykjavík to make your journey more memorable.

Laguna Secreta natural hot springs are located in the small village called Flúðir and are in the Golden Circle area.
