Kex Hostel

KEX Hostel is located in the heart of Reykjavik.

The dorms are bright and spacious equipped with comfortable bunks and lockers.

Guests have access cards to their dorm and the access is overseen by our staff. KEX Hostel offers both mixed dorms as well as women-only dorms depending on availability.

Showers and toilets are situated nearby each dorm.

Single, double and twin rooms
For those who prefer more privacy and comfort, we offer guesthouse-style single, double and twin rooms with made-up beds.

The rooms have a nice ambiance and many offer a great view of the ocean and mountains on the other side of the bay.

Offering a little more luxury, these spacious hotel-style rooms come with all the room features you would expect from a comfortable hotel room: made-up beds, private WC, and breakfast.

When you are not sleeping, you can enjoy the amazing gastropub called “Sæmundur í Sparifötunum”. At the DRINX bar, which is a part of Sæmundur í Sparifötunum, you can enjoy a locally brewed pint, craft beer or ale as well as spirits, cocktails and specially selected wines.
