Aldeyjarfoss in the right light is the perfect photography location. We also visit the famous Goðafoss and the less known, but truly beautiful, Hrafnabjargarfoss and Ingvararfoss.

Aldeyarfoss is a 20 metres tall waterfall and is powered by Skjálfandafljót river. The area around the waterfall is best known for its geology, on both sides of the waterfall are rows of hexagonal basalt columns.
Basalt columns are so beautifully formed and symmetrical.
Hrafnabjargafoss Waterfall is one of the hidden gems in the North. It is located just a few km further south of Goðafoss Waterfall in the same river.
You have the option to be dropped off at the Waldlagune on the way back, giving you the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax after your day tour. Conveniently located just outside of Akureyri, the lagoon offers a serene geothermal bathing experience, as well as an on-site restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal.
