Every Hike is Unique

We choose the route based on your group’s wishes, fitness level, and the conditions on the day. These are a few of our favorite trails:

• Tindfjallahringur Loop (8-12 km) – A journey through wild Þórsmörk, weaving between valleys, birch forests, and ridgelines with sweeping views of Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull glaciers. This route captures the contrasts of Þórsmörk—peaceful, dramatic, and always surprising.
• Hvannárgil Canyon (6-8 km) – A hidden gem of Þórsmörk. This narrow canyon hike follows riverbeds, climbs ridges, and rewards you with breathtaking views of glaciers, valleys, and untouched landscapes. It’s a trail for those drawn to Þórsmörk’s more secretive corners.
• Hestagötur Trail (9 km) – A route shaped by history, following old sheep paths through birch forests and rocky ridges, with close-up views of glaciers and remote valleys. Quiet, scenic, and deeply connected to the land.
