  • Reykjanesviti
The picturesque cliff stretches for several dozen meters. It measures just over 10 m in height, and at its foot there is a beach filled with rounded stones and boulders. The water here is usually rough and breaks against the rocks sticking out of the sea.
  • Carved by the pounding of waves against soft lava rock, Brimketill is a large, natural pool that sits at the bottom of a cliff at the ocean’s edge. In summer, it is a place of beauty and serenity; in winter, it becomes a place of dramatic wonder.
  • Reykjanesvíti lighthouse was first built in 1878, although it was damaged beyond repair just eight years later following a major earthquake. The current building was raised in 1907–1908 and, save from having gas installed in 1929, has remained little-changed since.
  • Krýsuvik
Solfatara fields of Krýsuvík, where you’ll discover an expanse of steaming volcanic vents and boiling hot springs, framed dramatically by a range of multi-colored hills.
  • Grænavatn
Just a few kilometers south of the Geothermal area Seltún at Krísuvík is a small lake, Grænavatn (Greenlake). The lake is a volcanic crater that got its name from its unusual green color. The color is due to a high level of sulfur in the water and its depth
  • Kleifarvatn is the largest lake on the Reykjanes Peninsula, located in the southwest of Iceland. It covers an area of 9.1 square kilometers (3.5 square miles) and is one of Iceland’s deepest lakes, reaching a depth of 97 meters (318 feet).
  • Recent volcano eruption 1hour hike.
