The journey begins with a pick-up from your Reykjavik hotel, after which we travel north through the underwater tunnel that connects Reykjavik and Akranes.

After a brief stop in the picturesque village of Borgarnes where you can pick up some food and snacks for the trip from a local bakery, we make our way to Buðir's famous black church, a magnificent structure that stands alone amid an old lava field. 

On the way, you will have a nice view of Bjarnarfoss, a beautiful waterfall falling behind a farmhouse. 

Our luxury tour continues to Arnarstapi, a small once-thriving fishing village stunningly located at the foot of Snæfellsjökull, a glacier-topped volcano known for being featured in Jules Verne's Reise zum Mittelpunkt der Erde. The village of Arnarstapi is famous for its cliffs and lava formations that are home to a variety of bird species in the summer months. An easy path extends down the shoreline from Arnarstapi's natural harbor, providing wonderful photo opportunities of the cliff and the surrounding scenery.

We make a stop at Lóndrangar to observe two spectacular lava formations said to be trolls transformed into rock while fishing.
