The Details

This expedition spans the entire south coast, from the glaciers of Eyjafjallajökull to the vast expanse of Vatnajökull. We aim to land near the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and the famous Diamantstrand where crystalline ice scatters across the black sand. The return flight follows the coast to witness the intricate glacial riverbraids, shifting channels of water that create abstract patterns across the charcoal-colored plains.
