Hallgrímskirkja
The 74.5 meters high Lutheran Church in Reyjkavík
Inspired by the Icelandic landscape, Hallgrímskirkja Lutheran’s Church stands in central Reykjavík and it is a national sanctuary in Iceland. With 74.5 meters high, this modern creation is an ode to the country. The church is named after the 17th-century Icelandic poet and clergyman Hallgrímur Pétursson.
Admission to the church is free.
Admission to the tower is ISK 1000 for adults and ISK 100 for children (7-16).
