Dettifoss

Whenever there is a beauty, there has to be a beast. Or maybe not. Well, you might remember Goðafoss, the most famous waterfall in Iceland because of its beautiful cascade. But Dettifoss’ attraction goes another way. It has been rumored that it is the most powerful waterfall in all of Europe. With a 100-meter wide cascade and an impressive 193 cubic meters of falling water every second, Dettifoss is one of those things you have to see in front of your eyes to believe the magnitude.
