In the spring of 2014, we built our first cottages at our farm. We offer accommodation near Egilsstaðir in East Iceland for up to 4 people in each of our 3 cottages.

Each cottage has a double and a sofa bed, shower, toilet, and a small kitchen. Our cottages are built for all year round, and therefore with a good heating and insulation system which brings quality to our guests.

Our small farm is located 12 km south of Egilsstaðir, a few hundred meters away from route nr. 1 on the way to Hallormsstaður. You can reach restaurants in Egilsstaðir and Hallormsstaður within 10 minutes driving.

Close to us, you can find activities like hiking and horse riding. We are on the road to one of Iceland’s highest waterfalls, Hengifoss. Kárahnjúkar great damn and Snæfell mountain are in a comfortable driving range.

On our farm, we arrange horse riding for children in the summertime, and we can schedule horse riding for our guests on farms in the neighborhood.
