Set in a former farm, 7.5 miles from Hofsos, this family-owned property offers rooms with views of Skagafjordur Bay.

Tasteful, individual décor is provided in each guest room at Lónkot Rural Resort. Guests can choose either private or shared bathrooms.

Staff can arrange horse riding rouse as well as trips to the neighbouring islands, Malmey and Drangey. Lónkot is 30 minutes’ drive off Iceland’s Ring Road.
