Welcome to Aska Hostel – Westman Islands!
The hostel has a prime location, only 5 min walk if you come by the ferry.
We offer different types of rooms for your stay.
All rooms have shared bathrooms, we have a total of four private showers.
During the summer (May-August) we offer a simple breakfast for guests. Guest have access to a small kitchen with fridge, oven, and microwave.
OUR NAME
The name ASKA simply means ASH and refers to the volcanic eruption in 1973. Of course, the lava flow and ashes were a terrible thing but it also showed the true heart and courage of the people of Vestmannaeyjar and hospitality since those fortunate enough to keep their houses took in others less fortunate.
