Strolling along Göngugatan, the cozy pedestrian street lined with shops and cafés, you'll get a feel for the town’s daily rhythm.

A tour highlight is a stop at Gilið, the gorge that dramatically cuts through the town center. Here, we view the beautiful Akureyri Church, designed by famed architect Guðjón Samúelsson. Your guide will share the story of this beloved landmark, a true city symbol.
