Throughout this tour, your guide will also be your photographer. Meaning that they will take photos of you during this magical experience. After the tour is over, we will edit and send them to you for you to keep as a memory of your epic adventure!

Pickup
First, your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in your private vehicle (either 8AM or 9AM). Second, from there, you will begin about a 1 hour 15 minute journey into the Reykjanes Peninsula. Third, along the way, you will pass through the beautiful Icelandic countryside admiring the city and lava views!
The Bridge Between Continents
Begin your exploration at the symbolic “Bridge Between Continents.” Fun Fact: This is where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. Capture the essence of this geological marvel as you stand on the bridge that spans the gap between two continents (or venture down into the sand). Valahnúkamöl
A hidden gem nestled within the majestic landscapes of the Reykjanes Peninsula is Valahnúkamöl. Here you’ll indulge yourself in the magical cliffs, basalt rock formations, historical lighthouse, natural cave and history. Also if you’re a bird lover this is an ideal spot for you to seek solitude in nature. Enjoy every second of this unique place!
Brimketill Lava Rock Pool
Next, on the agenda is a stop is Brimketill. Which is a remarkable geothermal rock pool sculpted by the forces of nature. Really offering an exhilarating blend of geology and coastal beauty. Next, you’ll get the chance to experience Seltún geothermal area. Which is a surreal expanse of hot springs, bubbling mud pots, and vibrant colors. We will capture you discovering this wild landscape feature.
Kleifarvatn Lake
Kleifarvatn, the largest lake on the Reykjanes Peninsula. It offers a serene escape surrounded by volcanic craters and moss-covered lava fields. Let’s forever document you among these beautiful mountains, and volcanic features alongside the crystal-clear waters of this famed lake!
Krýsuvík Church
Did you know there is an adorable little countryside church within the Reykjanes Peninsula? To illustrate, it is a charming wooden church dating back to 1857 (but recently rebuilt from a fire). With its classic Icelandic rural architecture, the church stands as a picturesque symbol of cultural heritage amidst otherworldly landscapes!
Drop-off
We will conclude this tour of the Reykjanes Peninsula with a fun ride back to Reykjavik. After 45-60 minute journey, your guide will drop you back off at your accommodation with amazing memories of your day exploring this rich peninsula.
Throughout the tour, your photographer will capture the beauty of the landscapes and the memories of your trip, so you can relax and enjoy the sights without worrying about taking photos. At the end of the journey, you will receive an edited photo package as a keepsake of your Reykjanes Peninsula adventure in ~14 days.
