Detailed info
The tranquility of the Eastfjords in the winter is profound. As you traverse the snow-covered landscapes, the only sounds are the soft crunch of your snowshoes and the occasional whispers of the wind. The peaceful silence enhances the immersive experience, allowing you to connect with nature on a deeper level.

The fresh snow unveils a pristine canvas marked with traces of wildlife. Our guides may point out tracks of Arctic foxes, reindeer, or birds, revealing the hidden stories of the Eastfjords' winter inhabitants. This adds an element of wildlife exploration to your snowshoeing adventure.

The place isn’t set – we choose it based on the snow conditions. We might either go to Vestdalur valley with a frozen cascading waterfalls or hirger up to the mountains to Stafdalur which provides a stunning views of the snow covered mountains surrounding the fjord.
