What You’ll Experience

Flight Exploration
Learn basic flying skills while soaring over Reykjavík’s diverse landscapes, including mountains, lava fields, and the coastline — all as part of your training.

Optional Maneuvers
Conditions permitting, your instructor may demonstrate basic flying techniques such as gentle turns, climbs, or even a stall maneuver for those ready for more.

Hands-On Flying
Weather and conditions allowing, you'll be given the chance to take the controls yourself and feel what it’s like to fly — always under your instructor’s supervision.

The Flying Buggy

You’ll be flying a two-seater ultralight aircraft, designed specifically for training and adventure.
With only you and your instructor on board, you'll get a true introduction to the world of flight over the beautiful Icelandic landscape.

Flight Details

Duration: Weather-dependent, typically lasting 15–25 minutes

Availability: Flights scheduled daily depending on conditions; Go/No-Go decision emailed the day before

Pick-Up Options: Transportation from Reykjavík available for an additional fee

Included: Pre-flight briefing, instructional flight with a certified instructor, optional hands-on flying (weather permitting), and a GoPro video to capture your first flying lesson
