Take on a full day's worth of adventure at some of Iceland's best South Coast locations.

Your first activity is our ATV tour at Mýrdalsjökull Base Camp, on road 222. There you will meet our certified ATV guides who will gear you up and prepare you for the 2 hour ATV experience on the black sands and visit the DC-3 plane wreck.

After you finish your ATV, you make your own way to the next part of the combo tour, which is located at Sólheimajökull Base camp, about a 10 min drive away. You have about 90 minutes between the tours, which you can spend having lunch (not included) and take in the surrounding landscape of Sólheimajökull before your next adventure.

You will meet your certified and expert glacier guide, who will lead you on a 2.5 hour long excursion through the fascinating features of Sólheimajökull glacier. After a safety briefing and a tutorial on how to use your glacier equipment, you will make your way onto the glacier, for a short and safe glacier walk around the deep crevasses, ice formations and tunnels on Sólheimajökull. No prior experience is needed for fantastic glacier adventure.

Both tours are suitable for all skill levels and are led by professional and certified glacier guides, with all safety equipment provided.

Please note: The ATV tour requires all drivers to be at least 17 years of age or older and have a full, valid driver's license. A learner´s permit, tractor, or motorcycle license is not sufficient according to Icelandic law. Single riders and groups with odd numbers are required to book a single ride snowmobile. This tour is meet on location only.

  • English speaking guidance for both tours
  • Glacier gear
  • Safety equipment for glacier walk
  • ATV/Quad bikes
  • Insulated over-alls on ATV tour
  • Helmets on ATV tour
  • Balaclava on ATV tour

We recommend you bring warm first and/or mid layer, e.g. a warm sweater and water resistant boots. Rain gear and hiking boots are also recommended for the glacier hike but can be rented at Sólheimajökull base camp.
