We are passionate and active photographers here at Glacier and Volcano Expeditions and we understand what is involved in producing high-quality images. It always takes time to search for compositions, set up a tripod, adjust the camera to the right settings and wait for the light to hopefully cooperate.

We know that it is best not to rush or be under pressure from those who are non-photographers which is why our specific photography glacier expeditions are perfect for those who want to capture outstanding images on an Icelandic glacier.

We provide you with crampons, a helmet and a harness (for when rope protection is necessary) and take you up the moss-clad valley to access the glacier, strap our crampons on to our feet and take you to locations on the ice that suit your photography style.

Ice caves are not always an option as they can flood in periods of heavy rain or high temperatures, however we always try our best at all times of the year to take our guests into an ice tunnel or cave when possible.
